Hey there! How’s your Tuesday going so far? I’m dragging this morning. I stayed up too late because I was absolutely glued to all things Royal Wedding on TLC. Judging by Twitter conversations last night, I’m not the only one who’s counting down the hours until the Friday nuptials 😉
Anyway, I’ll save that chatter until the end of the week (but feel free to tweet me about it 😉 )
As some of you saw, Cory gave me my first golf lesson yesterday. Cory’s grown up playing golf, and I thought it would be a neat thing to try that would allow me to step outside my box.
I’m really bad at remembering to keep my knees bent and my butt out. It’s an extremely awkward stance, and when I looked at the older men around me, no one else resembled a confused duck quite like myself.
Cory did an excellent job as Coach. It’s not easy to teach someone like me a new trick because I get frustrated. Easily.
I completely missed the ball several times, but to my own credit, I hit some really good ones too. If they got air, they qualified as PGA material 😉
Workout and Breakfast
Now that I’m a pro golfer, I felt that a good weight lifting session was in order in this morning 😉 I followed up my workout with a phenomenal cereal combo.
Cereal never gets old, friends. Never.
Tonight I’m starting a new volunteer experience, and it’s pretty unique. You’ll never guess what I’m doing. I’ll fill you guys in soon!
